Terms of Service

1. Account Creation & Phone Numbers

By registering on Akawo, you agree to use your active phone number as your primary identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

2. Savings Goals & Locked Funds

Akawo enforces strict savings discipline. Once a target duration (1 to 12 months) is set, your funds are securely locked. You cannot withdraw funds until the progress bar reaches 100%, except in cases where a user is explicitly granted an emergency override.

3. Service Fees & Payouts

When an approved withdrawal is settled to your local bank account, a standard monthly service commission (equivalent to your daily amount multiplied by the duration in months) is automatically deducted from your total payout.

4. Referrals

Referral bonuses are credited to your account when new users sign up using your phone number as their referral code and meet the minimum funding criteria.
